sbobet24 Arsenal legend Paul Merson has predicted an extended Champions League exile for Chelsea should they appoint Massimiliano Allegri as manager.

Following defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, the Blues are eight points adrift of the top four and are facing the prospect of playing in the Europa League next season.

It would represent a major decline as they lifted the Premier League title just last season and as a result of their poor form this term, Antonio Conte is widely expected to depart come the end of the campaign.

A number of candidates - including Carlo Ancelotti, Leonardo Jardim and Luis Enrique - have been touted as potential replacements for the Italian tactician, while Allegri dropped a massive hint over his future by revealing he's looking to manage abroad following his spell with Juventus.

However, Merson doesn't believe appointing Allgeri would be wise and has also predicted the departures of two key players this summer. sbobet24

"Chelsea are in danger of becoming another Arsenal and I don’t see how Max Allegri is going to stop that from happening," Merson told the Daily Star. "Antonio Conte is on his way out, but I can’t see the owner spending bundles of money in the summer.

"I can see Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois leaving.

"These are worrying times for Chelsea. I don’t see any way back for them. I think they’re going to be also-rans again next season. Other teams have come flying past them and will only get stronger. Tottenham and Liverpool are already ahead of them. sbobet24

MessagePosté le: Dim 22 Avr - 08:01 (2018)    Sujet du message: Sevilla 0-5 Barcelona: Ernesto Valverde's men win fourth con Répondre en citant

sbo222 Barcelona cruised to their fourth consecutive Copa del Rey title on Saturday evening as they beat Sevilla 5-0 at the Wanda Metropolitano. Ernesto Valverde's men are halfway to a domestic double - also sitting 12 points clear at the top of the La Liga table - and Luis Suarez opened the scoring 14 minutes into the game before Lionel Messi added the second 15 minutes later. Suarez (40) scored another just before the break, with Andres Iniesta (52) making it four seven minutes after the restart before Philippe Coutinho rounded off the scoring from the penalty spot in the 69th minute.

Sevilla offered little in reply as Barcelona lifted the Copa del Rey trophy once again, becoming the first team to win it four times in a row since 1933 when Athletic Bilbao achieved the same feat. It took just 14 minutes for Barcelona to take the lead and it was a simple goal as Jasper Cillessen lofted a superb long ball down the field which picked out Coutinho. He drove towards goal before lifting the ball over the oncoming David Soria at the near post and allowing the waiting Suarez to tap home. But Sevilla did test the La Liga leaders briefly after going behind, with Joaquin Correa slicing a volley wide before a driving cross from Jesus Navas found the boot of Steve N'Zonzi, but the midfielder could only flash the ball wide of the far post. sbo222

Iniesta went close for Barcelona in the 28th minute as his deflected shot hammered against the crossbar, but they did have their second goal just three minutes later. Jordi Alba played a neat one-two with Iniesta, before putting a superb backheel into the path of Messi who hammered the ball high into the roof of the net. A brilliant first-half performance from Barcelona continued to get better as Suarez scored his second of the evening with five minutes of the first half to play. Messi threaded a lovely ball through the middle of the park for his team-mate, who raced onto the pass before firing home past Soria. Barcelona continued their dominance seven minutes into the second half with a superbly taken goal from Iniesta in what could be his last cup final for the club. He was slid in down the right of the area with a lovely pass from Messi, before rounding the goalkeeper and scoring on a tight angle.

On the other end of the spectrum, it was a dream first Barcelona final for Coutinho as he scored the fifth goal in the 69th minute. He had an initial strike ruled out after Clement Lenglet was penalised for a handball, but the ball was given to him for a second chance - despite Suarez being able to score his hat-trick - and he did not waste it, sending Soria the wrong way. Barcelona saw out the game with relative ease - a few long-range shots from Sevilla easily dealt with by Cillissen - and Iniesta received a standing ovation from around the ground when he was substituted in the 88th minute before going on to lift the Copa del Rey trophy. sbo222

Liverpool deal for Alisson could be OFF: Jurgen Klopp keen on rehabilitating Loris Karius

sbobet24 LIVERPOOL could call off their pursuit of Roma keeper Alisson and instead focus on rehabilitating Loris Karius, according to reports. The German goalkeeper had a nightmare in the Champions League final, after two howlers gifted Real Madrid a 3-1 victory.

First, he threw the ball straight to Karim Benzema who tapped into an empty net and then he fumbled a Gareth Bale potshot over the line. The ex-Mainz star was distraught after the final whistle and had to be consoled by Bale and other Real players.

And the feeling afterwards was that the Reds would go all out for a new stopper, with Alisson of Roma already heavily touted to join. But reports are now emerging suggesting that the Anfield outfit are baulking at the asking price and sbobet24 are instead looking into helping Karius back into the fold, according to the Telegraph.

The Brazilian keeper has been rumoured to join a host of top European clubs, including Chelsea and Real Madrid. And he is expected to be his country's No.1 going into this summer's World Cup - further boosting his price-tag. Roma have reportedly asked for between £60m-£70m for their man between the posts.

It would smash the current record fee for a goalkeeper, which stands at £35m. And it is something that the Merseyside outfit would not want to pay, having already forked out big sums this transfer window. Fabinho joined soon after the Champions League final from Monaco for £40m, and Nabil Fekir is expected to be confirmed this weekend from Lyon. sbobet24 His fee is expected to be in the region of £55m, and with Virgil van Dijk's fee earlier in the year the total of those three alone stands at around £170m.
